NBA Basketball Tickets

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is the professional basketball league in the USA, there are 30 teams (29 in the United States and 1 in Canada). It is vastly considered to be the premier men's professional basketball league in the world. The NBA is an active member of USA Basketball (USAB), which is recognized by International Basketball Federation or FIBA as the governing body for basketball in the United States. NBA players are the world's best paid athletes by average annual salary per player which is getting harder to be as pro athletes salaries keep growing.

A star-driven league, the 2018-19 season in the National Basketball Association (NBA) is going to be insane after an offseason that saw several star players switch teams to don new jerseys.

Any conversation in the NBA has to start and end with the Golden State Warriors, winners of two of the past three NBA Finals and the team that hoisted the 2017 Larry O’Brien trophy. The Warriors have two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, Stephen Curry, a shooter that many kids throughout the world are looking to emulate. Pair Curry, big man Draymond Green and shooting guard Klay Thompson with former MVP Kevin Durant and the Warriors easily took the championship over the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017.

Don’t sleep on the Cavaliers this season, though, as they still have arguably the world’s best player, LeBron James, playing at his peak. The forward can play all five positions and has led his teams to seven consecutive NBA Finals appearances, winning three of those, two of them with the Miami Heat.

James’ former Heat teammate, Dwayne Wade, now runs the show with the Chicago Bulls, a young, exciting rebuilding team. The Bulls traded All-Star forward Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves during the offseason, and the Timberwolves have a young core with Karl Anthony-Towns and Andrew Wiggins that is ready to compete with the Warriors immediately.

Minnesota will need to get through reigning MVP Russell Westbrook and new Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Paul George, however, if they have any hope of making a run in the postseason. The Los Angeles Lakers are also looking to return to their dominant ways with rookie point guard Lonzo Ball leading the team.

Whatever happens in 2017, there’s non-stop action from Los Angeles to Oakland, Houston to Oklahoma City, Cleveland to Boston, you won’t want to miss a second. With every game capable of game-winning buzzer beaters and upsets, buy your tickets for the game you want to see!

The National Basketball Association has certainly come a long way since its inception in 1946. Back then, the league served as arena filler whenever the circus was not in town or a prize boxing match is not available. However, its popularity started to grow thanks to dedicated players and personnel who gave everything to make it the global league that basketball fans now know of. It is no wonder that the great players also become brand ambassadors for the big companies who are willing to pay top dollar.

Yet, the heart of the NBA’s story lies in the games and its format. At present, the league has the Eastern and Western Conference with each conference having three divisions. Then, each division has five teams each. The Eastern Conference has the Atlantic, Central and Southeast divisions while the Western Conference has the Northwest, Pacific and Southwest Divisions. Each team will play 82 regular season games and the 16 playoff teams are determined based on the team’s win-loss record.

From the playoffs, the champions in both conferences play in the NBA Finals for the right to own the Larry O’ Brien trophy. There are a lot of great match-ups that you can catch live during the regular season. But when your team makes the playoffs, do not think twice in buying tickets and witness first-hand the best professional basketball action on earth.
