U2 is hitting the road again, playing at indoor arenas for the first time in 10 years.
The iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour is going to 19 cities around the world next year. There
will be special shows for Dublin at the end of next year that will be for the benefit of the U2-
created Music Generation project … details to come once they are finalized. Bono said they are
going have a completely different feel for each show and they’ll have some fun getting creative
with the idea of innocence and experience. More info to come on this!
North American U2 Tour News ….
U2 will adding be eight more extra shows in the US. More shows for Montreal will be on the
16th and 17th, June 2015. Additional shows for Chicago will be on the 28th and 29th, June 2015.
Additional shows for Boston will be on the 14th and 15th, July 2015. Additional shows for New
York will be on the 26th and 27th, July 2015. The two extra shows in Montreal will be the first
time U2 have played four concerts in Montreal on a single tour. U2 are also playing six concerts
in a row in New York for the first time.
Europe U2 Tour News ….
There will be eight additional shows in Europe. Additional shows for Amsterdam will be on the
12th and 13th, September 2015. Additional shows for Stockholm will be on the 20th and 21st,
September 2015. Additional shows for Berlin will be on the 28th and 29th, September 2015.
Additional shows for Paris will be on the 14th and 15th, November 2015. These additional shows
take the total number of shows in each city to 4 and this is the 1st U2 has played four shows on
a single tour in any of these cities.
